I took a long
hiatus from painting from 2007 to 2009. My return to painting has so far been a juxtaposition of Christ's face and flowers.
One is complex in it's array of emotions, the other is simple and sweet. My style didn't change much during the
three years of painting void, but I did. I still am interested in the impressionist celebration of light, and I
am still driven to embed passion in my paint through the drips, drizzles and globs. My paint still begs the viewer
to dance with it, visit and wonder about life, and see if you can find a connection to God. But now my connection
to God is more closely understood, the vehicle to that understanding more defined and more widely captivated at the same time.
Enjoy.
