Inspired by photographs I took on a trip to Sonoma, California. Sonoma is one of my favorite places on
earth. Especially in the fall, the crisp air is filled with the smell of crushed
grapes. These grapes were just days away from being picked to make a bottle of
cabernet sauvignon. In this painting, I tried to capture the passion of the wine to come.
