Artist Unveils More Than Art
(May 15, 2005)
– New Hampshire artist Randy Loubier – a hard-working financial executive and
father of six who, at age 42, suddenly uncovered his own reservoir of untapped artistic talent – visited Leesburg, VA
last week to unveil his latest art at The Left Bank on Market Street.
“The real
surprise of the evening was how many people came away from meeting Randy saying, I feel like painting, or doing something!”,
said David Johnson, owner of The Left Bank. Randy’s infectious smile and
enthusiasm for life not only shines through his work but is highly inspiring.
Loubier last
lived in Virginia in 1992. He was
a Congressional Fellow with the Brookings Institution and an economics advisor to Congressman Robert Andrews (D, NJ). Prior to that, he had been one of the youngest business unit controllers at AT&T. In his youth, he was a self-professed math geek.
The unlikely journey from math geek to artist is chronicled in his book, “An Extraordinary Journey From Accountant
to Artist.”
Leesburg Bookstore on Wirt
Street is carrying Loubier’s book and together with The Left Bank will host another book
signing and art show for Loubier on December 2, 2005. It will be another opportunity to discover not only Randy Loubier’s
unique contributions to the art world, but be inspired to discover your own unique gifts.
“We all wonder what is inside of us—what we might achieve if we stepped outside the box we built for ourselves.”
