Local artist
to appear on CN8 "Nite Beat" television program April 4th.
(March 23, 2005) -- Amherst, NH resident Randy Loubier
– a hard-working accountant and business executive who, at age 42, suddenly uncovered his own reservoir of untapped
artistic talent – will tell his inspirational story of personal discovery and transition to viewers of the Comcast cable
television program “Nite Beat with Barry Nolan” on Monday, April 4th beginning at 7pm on CN8 (check local listings).
“Up until five years ago, I was quite the opposite of an artist,” says Loubier.
“I had no talent, no training, and no time.” But after attending
a deeply moving charity event in Boston, Loubier found himself at a local art
supply store, looking for the tools to express an image he just had to get out of his head.
Since then, he’s produced hundreds of canvases and is selling his work in galleries from Wisconsin
to Georgia to Virginia. Locally, Diane Bell at Expressions Gallery in Milford
represents his work.
Loubier’s interview will feature a look at several of his recent paintings, and will include a discussion of the artist’s
recently published autobiography, "An Extraordinary Journey From Accountant to Artist."
Loubier is donating all profits from book sales to Angel Flight, the charity that served as his early inspiration.
